Can I Take My X-Rays With Me?

Film and Copy Release Information

Images for your radiology procedures can be made available to your physician or other healthcare provider when specifically requested. They will be sent directly to the requesting physician or healthcare provider via courier services authorized by NCH (Naples area) or by certified U.S. Mail. Whenever possible, digital images are burned onto CD for the convenience of our physicians. Replicas of hard copy images, or of digital images may be printed for those physicians that are unable to access images on CD. Federal Express is available, but is charged to the patient.

Patients who want to take their images with them must pay to have original images copied or burned onto CD. This process requires 24-hour notification. Proper Identification is required before copies or CD's will be released, as all images are confidential patient information.

Original hard-copy (non-digital) images on film taken at NCH Health Care System facility are the property of NCHHCS.

The NCH Healthcare System is a not-for-profit, multi-facility healthcare system located in Naples, Florida, United States. The System is more than just two hospitals (referred to as the NCH Downtown Naples Hospital, and NCH North Naples Hospital) with a total of 715 beds. This year the system had 37,284 admissions, 87,100 emergency room visits, 3,033 births, 416 open heart surgeries, 11,282 surgical procedures, and 3,000 employee colleagues. NCH is a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
