Karl Korri, MD
Born in Ontario, Canada, received BSc, MSc & M.D. degrees from the University of Toronto. Completed residency in Emergency Medicine in Louisville, KY at the University hospital and received Board Certification in Emergency Medicine. Practiced in the emergency department at the Brantford General Hospital in Brantford, Ontario, Canada and served as director of the department for ten years. Relocated to Jackson, MS to work in the express care at Baptist Hospital. Currently at the NCH Urgent Care Clinic on Vanderbilt Beach Road, where he has worked since 2007.
Mike Tanner, PA
Born and raised in Massachusetts, attended the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth and achieved Bachelor of Science degree in Finance in 1992. After working in the financial arena for more than 3 years, changed career paths. Worked in Boston as a licensed EMT and research coordinator at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Children's Hospital. Received Post-baccalaureate Premedical education from Harvard University and University of Massachusetts at Boston. From 1999-2001, attended Barry University's Physician Assistant Program in Miami Shores, FL and graduated with Masters in Clinical Medical Sciences. In 2001 became PA Board Certified and received Special Recognition in Surgery. Worked from 2002 to 2005 as a Physician Assistant in the Emergency Department at Naples Community Hospital. In 2002, began teaching as an adjunct faculty member at Barry University's School of Graduate Medical Sciences PA Program. Currently practicing as a Physician Assistant at NCH Urgent Care, Naples, FL since 2005.
Steven West, MD
Dr. Steven West attended undergraduate and medical school at the University of Colorado, graduating medical school in 1985. He then completed his internship and residency in Emergency Medicine at East Carolina University from 1985 through 1988 and was Chief Resident ’87-’88. He returned to Colorado and practiced Emergency Medicine at McKee Medical Center (Loveland CO) and Boulder Community Hospital (Boulder CO) for 1 year. He and his family moved to Naples in 1989 and he practiced in the Emergency Department of Naples Community Hospital for 15 years. Dr. West left the ER in 2004 to open an urgent care with Anchor Health which was acquired by NCH in 2010. He has been the Medical Director since the opening of the center. The Urgent Care Center has been a winner in the Naples Daily News Choice Awards numerous times. He and his staff are accepting new patients in their location at the Pavilion Shopping Center on Vanderbilt Beach Road.
