Jeffrey L. Craig, MD
Dr. Craig is a Board Certified Physician in Internal Medicine and will be joining the NCH Concierge Practice in October. He received his undergraduate from Eastern Kentucky
University in 1987. He obtained his Medical Doctorate from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1991 and completed his Residency of Internal Medicine at The Christ Hospital in 1994. For the past 21 years of his career, Dr. Craig has practiced Internal Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio and for the last 8 years he has run a successful Concierge practice. Dr. Craig enjoys practicing in a Concierge style practice and he feels it allows him to provide the care and attention each patient deserves. He brings many years of experience with a vigorous approach to preventive healthcare as well as management of chronic disease. Dr. Craig has a special interest in early detection of Cardiovascular risk factors.
Dr. Craig and his wife Joy have been married for 10 years. After visiting for the past decade, they have decided to make a dream come true and move to Naples. They both look forward to being involved in many organizations and becoming active members of the community. Dr. Craig is a sports fanatic and is looking forward to the beautiful weather and improving his golf game!
Robert Hanson, MD
Robert Hanson MD has practiced as a Family Physician in Naples since 1992. He received his medical degree from the University of Florida in 1989. He completed his internship and residency in Family Practice at the Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg/ Fl in 1992. Dr. Hanson served as chief resident during his final year of residency. He was a founding member of Anchor Health Centers in 1997 and served as group president during its acquisition by the NCH Healthcare System in 2010. Dr. Hanson served as Chairman of the Board for the NCH Physician Group until September 2014.
Dr. Hanson has practiced medicine in Naples for the past 23 years. He provides care for his patients in a kind and compassionate manner. He understands the importance of spending time with his patients to best determine their unique health care needs and direct appropriate care. Dr. Hanson has the experience to address most general health care problems. He will coordinate care with specialty providers when needed. He is also a strong proponent of preventative medicine making this a key part of his medical practice. Dr. Hanson’s patients have access to his office with same or next day appointments. His patients can also contact him directly via his cell phone or email address. Dr. Hanson’s patients have the extra assurance that he is available to help them after hours/ on the weekends/ or in the hospital.
Dr. Hanson grew up in St. Petersburg/ the son of a primary care physician. He has 4 wonderful children. He enjoys travel fishing/ golf fitness/ and riding his bike.

Jesse Haven, MD
Dr. Haven is an experienced, board certified, family physician who has worked in Naples for 13 years, first with Anchor Health Centers and presently with NCH Healthcare Group. He graduated from Duke University, cum laude, attended Thomas Jefferson Medical College, cum laude, and completed his medical residency at Bayfront Medical Center, St. Petersburg, FL, having served as chief resident.
Dr. Haven is transforming his practice from a large practice in family medicine to a much smaller, personalized and patient-focused family practice. He enjoys spending more time with patients so they have the sense that they are receiving the level of care they would receive if they had a doctor in their immediate family. Dr. Haven closely monitors all medical services for his patients, working together to develop a nutrition and exercise program, using cutting edge resources and state of the art technology.
In addition, Dr. Haven has enjoyed volunteering at the Neighborhood Health Clinic in Naples since 2001.
Dr. Haven is fluent in Spanish, and he enjoys traveling to foreign countries. He has studied in Spain and Ecuador. Dr. Haven enjoys marathons, half-marathons, adventure races, cycling and triathlons. He loves spending time with his wife, Monika, sons, Jake and Reese, and dog, Baxter.
Julie Southmayd, MD
Dr Julie Southmayd did her undergraduate work at Mount Holyoke College in biology earning her BA Magna Cum Laude. She is also a graduate of the Dartmouth-Brown Program in Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA. She was a staff physician for six years for Harvard University and clinical professor of medicine before leaving for private practice in Wellesley, MA. She has been a physician in Naples for the last twelve years and has earned the honor of Top Doctor by Castle Connolly for the last seven years as well as Naples Daily News People's Choice Award for best doctor for two years.
Dr Southmayd has a strong interest in women’s health issues, preventative medicine and healthy aging. She is well versed in the latest technologies for diagnosing and treating hormone imbalances, cardiovascular diseases, food sensitivities and gastrointestinal issues. Her goal is to help her patients achieve optimal health and wellness by inviting patients to play an active role in making changes to their diet and lifestyle.
Dr. Southmayd is originally from the Boston area and completed all her schooling and training in New England. She enjoys travel, practicing yoga and spending time with her family and friends when not caring for her patients.
