Welcome to the Shick Heart Center

Cardiac Rehab is a program of health education, exercise, training and lifestyle counseling which is aimed at building heart-healthy lifestyles. The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is available to patients with coronary artery disease including:

• Heart attack in the past year 
• Bypass surgery (CABG) 
• Angina

Prerequisites to the program include:

• Written referral from a physician.
• Treadmill stress test for the Core and Pulmonary Maintenance programs if required and ordered by a physician
• History and physical
• EKG

***  Medicare may cover up to 80% of the program charges. Call your insurance agent to determine your coverage.
