I am pleased to invite you to visit our new NCH Internal Medicine Residency, in Naples, FL, rated by the Gallup – Healthways Survey, the “healthiest and happiest” community in the United States. Our program has been developed in concert with our affiliate, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and is dedicated to individual mentoring and guidance of young medical graduates with a goal of producing expert doctors of internal medicine.

Our faculty has been selected for their experience in medical education, clinical skills and interpersonal communication. Your journey is ours and, as such, our doors will always be open as we will work and learn together. As our first class, much of your clinical supervision and teaching will be direct attending to trainee interactions. At the end of your training you will receive a certificate of completion from NCH Healthcare System, an affiliate of Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, which will give you the unique opportunity to put your stamp on medical education.

We are recruiting 12 medical students for our first class to begin July 2017. NCH Healthcare System is committed to provide all necessary resources to assure success, including state of the art electronic medical records, simulation center, operating rooms, & intensive medical and cardiac care. Unique involvement in preventative medicine with the Blue Zones Project and the nation’s largest complement of concierge physicians will broaden your exposure. Additionally, our affiliation with Mayo Clinic College of Medicine will offer expertise and guidance in virtually every area of medical education. Residents will be provided competitive salaries and a housing stipend.

I am very excited to offer you the opportunity to explore our new residency, located in a dynamic and innovative community hospital in a spectacular setting in southwest Florida, as we begin our journey toward becoming a top internal medicine training program. I look forward to meeting you.
