Internal Medicine Residency

Residents in the Internal Medicine Residency enjoy a curriculum that offers a wide variety of clinical and hospital-based experiences as well as daily didactics presented by residents and consulting staff. The schedule is well-balanced and allows electives early in the training process as well as academic mentorship and research opportunities during the intern year.

The patient population encountered at NCH in Naples, Florida, provides diverse pathology, from bread-and-butter internal medicine to rare and complex diagnoses.

The basis of our curriculum in the 13 block model in which inpatient and outpatient blocks rotate. Electives occur during outpatient blocks.
