North Collier Fire Control & Rescue District announces their partnership with the
North Collier Professional Firefighters & Paramedics Local 2297 & other community organizations to offer free Covid-19 antibody testing to the public.This partnership is in response to urgent pleas from the NCH Community Blood Center for plasma donations from individuals who have fully recovered from Covid-19. The Community Blood Center At NCH will have their mobile blood mobile on site and will be ready to collect the plasma of the people who qualify and test positive for the antibody. They will also be there to collect blood from anyone who is willing to donate blood.

CANDIDATE PRE-QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria to qualify for plasma donation:
• Have been diagnosed with Covid-19 (either by a laboratory, antibody test, or clinical diagnosis);
• Have been symptom free for at least 14 days;
• Are 18 years or older and weigh at least 110 pounds; and
• Have not been diagnosed with HIV, Hepatitis B or C.
TEST RESULTS: Available within 10 minutes

CDC & FDA guidelines being followed to ensure donor and staff safety. Blood drives are subject to change. Call 239-624-4120 & choose Option 4  Monday- Friday before 4 pm for the latest updates or revisit this website.

Only people actually donating blood will be permitted inside bloodmobile
Minimum weight to give blood: 110 pounds
Minimum age: 16, with parent present
Maximum age: none
Photo ID is required
Eat a meal prior to donating
Be well hydrated with water on donation day
